On the site of the former Kindl Brewery in Berlin Neukölln, a new circular economy and living space is being built, the Circular Economy House (CRCLR house). The former warehouse along the Rollbergstraße is upgraded and supplemented with two and a half storeys of timber construction. Together with the architects Hütten und Paläste and the user, represented by TRNSFRM e.G., ZRS Engineers developed a structural concept for the upgrade of the existing building and for the extension. Decisions in the planning process paid particular attention to the use of recycled building materials and their reusability.
